I have been doing freelance graphic design for web, print, and apparel for over 8 years. Most of the time I enjoy working with bands and artists, but it's always fun to step up to the challenge of corporate design.
For most of my band design it is a combination of hand drawn and inked illustration, and photoshop. Normally I will draw the design out by hand and then ink it with Microns or fine sharpies. After that, I scan it all in, put it together and use photoshop to drop color under all the linework and shading. I prefer this method, but once in a while when inspiration escapes me, or I just don't have the time, I'll do a design 100% in photoshop. I've been using photoshop for about 10 years now, and despite never taking a college class, feel I have a pretty good grasp of what I am capable of with it.
In short, I want to work with you and your band or company.
